The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a range of programs leading to Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Mechanical Engineering. For all degree programs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, our major educational objectives are on: establishing a rigorous foundation in the fundamentals of applied science and engineering; developing problem solving skills to confront challenging, open-ended situations; and cultivating the skills to effectively communicate proposed solutions.
